Our Green Ribbon Tribute With Jim's passing we have lost one of the true icons of and champions for Peoria. While we are saddened by the loss, his spirit will live on in the hundred - if not thousands - of people he has inspired over the decades. That's why we are sharing Our Green Ribbon Tribute: to commemorate this man who wanted everyone around him to succeed - especially the city he loved so much. So when you see those little green ribbons, we hope you will be reminded of all the big - and little - things Jim has done to help countless others succeed. Please share your stories about Jim Maloof here.

To Jim's Family,

We are very sad to hear of Jim's passing. I was a supporter of St. Jude Memphis in the 1960's. When the Midwest Affiliate was formed, I worked as a Lady of St. Jude in the 1970's and 80's. with the first doctors, Dr. Robert Hart and Dr. John Taraska. Trudy was a joy to be with. Jim was such a warm person and always called me Diana when we would meet over the years. We hope the many, many happy memories will help you get through this most difficult time. Our memories will help us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
